Why a subscription and not a one-time purchase?
The spa data is very labour-intensive to research and keep up to date – and we have to buy the photos, because for good reasons you aren't allowed to take pictures inside thermal spas. A one-time purchase simply isn't viable at the moment. We keep looking for new solutions, but for now the spas remain a subscription.

If you bought the Wellness Camp app as a Pro user, you keep the spa content in Camping App for life – without a subscription. The package is unlocked automatically.

What does the spa package cost?
The package is a subscription inside Camping App: €3.99 per month or €7.99 per year. You take it out directly in the app via the App Store or Google Play and can cancel it there at any time.

I had the Wellness Camp app as a Pro version. What happens now?
A promise is a promise: existing Pro users of the Wellness Camp app keep the spa content in Camping App for life – without a subscription. The package is unlocked automatically as soon as you are logged in to Camping App with the same store account or profile.
Do I need the Pro version of Camping App?
No, the spa package can be unlocked independently of Pro. Pro complements it nicely – with offline maps, route search and the travel log, for example.
How often is the spa data updated?
Continuously. New sites, photos and error reports arrive every day and we work through them – and we keep adding new thermal spas. Missing a spa or a site? Report it to us in the app.
Are there thermal spas outside Germany?
The spa guide currently focuses on thermal spas and baths in Germany. Camping App's overnight spots are of course available across Europe as usual.
